Something’s not right

Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

Omgggg @Birdofparadise8 !!!!
This squishmallow is SO cute! What is their name? That's cool you were able to use your Qantas points!

I'm curious if this new little squishy has brought any comfort to you in the past week? I've got Gordon (my shark Squishmallow) accompanying me tonight here 🙂

Re: Not Coping

It is pyle @PizzaMondo

I guess it has helped.

Re: Not Coping

Hi @tyme

Re: Not Coping

You’ve found them hard to understand because it’s been a challange. While I’ve validated you I haven’t played into how and things are and kept challenging you to see things in other perspectives.

Pinterest is great for goal boards.
For me having a goal still needs to be broken down. I’ll use your girl group as an example
Step one- join a girl group
Step 2- attend the first meeting
Step 3/ attend the second session

Then as it gets into it then steps can be like invite “friend” out.

Have a look at printest for goal boards or vision boards even

Re: Not Coping

I like that name @Birdofparadise8 ..

Like, a big pyle of cute! (haha, sorry I have some lame jokes..)

I'm happy to hear it has helped a bit, I know you were a little unsure about it when we last were chatting!

Re: Not Coping

Oh, okay, so you were challenging me. That is what my psych does.

Or tries to.

Ah, okay, I'll have a Google and see what I can come up with. @outlander

Re: Not Coping

Hahaha no that is funny @PizzaMondo

Yeah, I was. It's better than nothing, but it doesn't take away that feeling of wanting comfort.

@Birdofparadise8

Sometimes honesty is needed to get a point across even its it’s hard to hear.

Kmart I think sells those big pieces of cardboard for $1 I think. Get crafty, make it something that’s visually good to look at as well. Your imagination is your only limit!
I made a vision board of the places I wanted to visit once and used dried leaves and pressed flowers from just outside instead of buying stickers etc as well. I know you’re on a tight budget so maybe you can use things like sand, shells, flowers, leaves, anything really. It’s amazing what you can come up with and half the distraction is actually making the board so it’s a good crisis mechanism too!

Re: Not Coping

Yes I am hahah @outlander

I'll have to think about it. I'm busy the next couple of days, but maybe on Thursday, I'll work something out.

What are you doing?

Re: Not Coping

While you’re out and about if you see things pick them up. Take a sandwhich bag with you that way if you find a leaf you like or a small stone or shell etc you can collect it.

I’m in ndis meetings and appts most of next week. Finally catching up with everything after the holiday backlog @Birdofparadise8
