Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Hiya lil Sis @outlander how's things today?

I am having a low key day. I am volunteering at an event in a couple of hours. I'm doing a pizza and board games night. I had my case manager here earlier to check on me. It's a bit cold and wet here so I am sitting on the bed with my blanket over me. Mr A is stretched out in-between my legs keeping me a little warm.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

A low key day sounds like a great idea @Sans911 Wheres Mr Jasper? Its been quite warm here today
How did you got with your case manager? I read that your headed away next weekend for a volunteer retreat- that sounds loveley

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Right now Jasper's chewing on a plastic bag or the medication foil. I just had a lady here who's going to take care of them next weekend.

My case manager was fine. He knows I have means here in the house for SH/SA but I refused to hand it over, and he didn't push the issue. I respect for that. It's my one bit of control I have to shut down if needed. We talked a bit about my mother, and for now I won't contact her.

But my mother is very close to loosing me. I won't tolerate these pathetic games she plays. Right now she's being a spoilt child chucking a tantrum. I'm so tired of playing peacemaker. She's made my life very difficult in many ways as the impact of what's she's done will have a ripple effect on the rest of my extended family.

I am going on a volunteer retreat next weekend. Its kinda for getting to know people better, team bonding and similar stuff. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm also very anxious as well.

How are you tonight.?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

hmm cats seem to find things to keep them amused dont they lol. Im glad they will be looked after, you deserve some time away too. i hope some good becomes of next weekend, maybe a friendship or 2. Anxiety is normal Heart

Im glad your case manager sesison went ok, and didnt push you to hard. Its your mothers loss even though i know how hard this must be for you. she obviously doesnt see the amazing person we do. Giving yourself abit of distance and not contacting her sounds like a good idea for now.

im abit all over the shop but mostly tired and sore (not from sh) @Sans911 How are you feeling tonight?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

I'm pretty flat right now but I have to put on a happy face soon as I'm hosting a volunteer event soon. It's a pizza and board games night. It'll be good though to get out of the house.

I've got about 15mins left to chat before I run out the door

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

that sounds really great @Sans911 sounds like a fun night out!

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing
