This morning I stumbled across a condition called Post Betrayal Syndrome and Post Betrayal Transformation.

I think it’s wonderful that psychologists can put term and symptoms to a lived experience, that could be the basis of some negative life choices.

I Could certainly relate to PBS. I did a quick google and can relate to so much of what I read. What my now ex husband did has contributed to a lot of my mental health issues and I find it incredibly difficult to move on from.

@Bow  I’m so sorry to read that you have experienced such pain. I’m sorry for all of us. To have a forum where we can share our truths and be validated is a haven, a sanctuary.

Nothing worse than being told to “just get over it”
