Isle Paradiso

Re: Isle Paradiso

Yes... The coin flipping.

That is exactly my issue.

3 realities?

Win

Lose

Infinite spinning?

And re: autism. Processing new information. Severe anxiety.

Confusing is understatement.

Occasionally I get what I feel like it's a truth. I don't know.

Hope you have a peaceful night.

Thankyou again for your support & help.

Re: Isle Paradiso

That's why I was concerned @StanD, I'd given you so much information to process and was very worried I'd overload you and you'd freak out. Glad to hear I didn't hurt you

LeChuck

PS I will post the songs if you would like me to, or maybe just the one about hope and change. Up to you x

Re: Isle Paradiso

Hey @LeChuck thankyou for showing me compassion & patience...& I feel priceless that you have awareness of me.

You didn't hurt me. You gave me what I needed. What I still need.

The hurt is there...here....I am raw... Frightening... Getting stronger.

Kindness, faith, attentiveness.

It's the brightest light I've seen.

The trust, it needs to come from within & outside of me. In the way life interacts.

Bad things happen.

I keep hearing this lady, (a peer worker) she said to me,

On the other side of fear is faith.

Keep writing LeChuck (I'm going to Google this pirate!)

Oh & if you are around, I'm hanging for music rn.

Re: Isle Paradiso

Ok, this is one I feel you will relate to some of although I could me completely wrong! It is sad though so listen when you are in a good space. There are a few lines that I think are about an ex but the sense of the song is there. I relate to it anyway. @StanD

Re: Isle Paradiso

@StanD This next one I'm not sure of. It was written by Sam Cooke during the fight for African American Civil rights, so I'm not sure if it's ok for a middle class caucasian person like me to be so inspired by his strength and optimism. There can be no comparison between their struggle and MH, we will never know what African Americans went through and continue to go through. So I hope I am not taking inspiration and strength that was not meant for me. I will post a beautiful cover of it by Otis Redding, and take it down immediately should anyone be offended.

Re: Isle Paradiso

Oh LeChuck is very complex. Undead - human - ghost. So, he is a baddie. His quest to make his love interest submit to him, & defeat the man she chose.

He is typical bad dude.

By Escape from Monkey Island LeChuck regrets having missed the opportunity to simply k i l  Guybrush in the past, having preferred the opportunity to gloat in victory over eliminating his enemy. Despite his intellect, LeChuck is arrogant and overconfident, and can be gullible, which often leads to his downfall

Re: Isle Paradiso

I love escape from monkey island. Iusually go with guybrush because I think his fumbling nature is akin to mine but I thought I'd mix it up and be the bad guy for a change. Although had I read that description and thought about the bride stealing I probably wouldn't have! Perhaps I will be the governor next time, a strong smart woman.
