Dear @Exoplanet
Getting in and doing some things is always a good sign. Happy you have started stepping out of being a bit off. I feel like I'm almost always a bit off.
My NDIS plan has come through. Best of all, I'm already going to be starting on Monday individualised yoga sessions to happen weekly with my old support worker, who now has her own one-person business specialising in this. She and I already consider each other friends from when she supported me in the past.
In few weeks we will have an extra few hours on another day each week, for the two of us to get out together each week to do something out in the world.
Increased physical fitness is my main focus for now, gentle and enjoyable exercise out of the home, such as walking in nature. I know this will help my physical and mental health a great deal.
Hugs and love,
Mazzy

Hey @Exoplanet seems I missed your last post while I was drafting mine to you, and sorting file size issues with the photo I uploaded. Really wonderful to hear the staffy is swimming in the dam. So great you got some good rain and that the nights are cooling.

Hello @Exoplanet
Not sure where you are at in your world as have been absent for some time.
Self-care
Walking through our park opposite when I can push myself out does help tremendously.
although I have to say I am very possessive; feeling slightly indignant when too many others walk past noisily.
A tad selfish I realise.
I have been told to acknowledge my feelings. So am noticing that I can be childish at times. No surprise there though really. I have always thought that I do not want to grow up. As far as the park is concerned, there are several people I see often walk past our house or on the walking trail through the park. I still smile and say hello to all who pass with a smile.
Big hug to you and your staffy.
Will drop in when next online if you tag me.
Hardest part of the forums. Take time out for self-care needed then cannot remember or unaware of what is happening in the lives of all of those who mean so much to me.
Love Sophia xx💜

Have had a lovely cool change here, I even filled up a couple of hot water bottles last night! Seems quite the sudden change, but I guess it's not, I haven't had to use the fan much for weeks really. I had my youngest grand daughter chat to me on a facebook message service a couple of times, that was wonderful, that she reached out to me 🙂 There's still flood warnings in my area, though no sign of them where I am, just nice to know there is water about 😉 I've discovered a new game that I can get lost in all day, hunting & gathering & building & surviving - the sort of game I like 🙂 Just wanted to pop in & say 'Hi' ❤️

Hi @Exoplanet
How wonderful your grandaughter reached out to you on FB. I can imagine how heart warming that would be for you.
Also great to hear the weather is becoming more gentle and enjoyable. I tend to have a fan at least on low on when I sleep all year round. For some reason I have always found fans comforting, maybe it's a bit like feeling a lovely gentle breeze when outside. I've also read that 'white noise' is sometimes used as a sleep aid, so maybe there's something in that too.
Hunting and gathering and building and surviving is something you know well. I reckon you'd be getting high scores!
Started weekly physio last Wednesday. Yesterday had first session of individualised yoga with my old support worker. I've also started weekly acupuncture with a medical doctor who bulk-bills pensioners and is an acuptuncturist as well. That has definitely been giving some pain relief for my neck and upper back, at least for a few days afterwards, maybe the effect will build up even more over time. An extra session with support worker starting next week, mainly for walking in nature together at the start. Feeling optimistic about the next year with all this support.
Lots of love to you,
Mazzy
