Thanks for the screenshot, that helps a bit. I've tried to reproduce that error but can't. if I login with a wrong username or password I get an error message about that. So it definitely seems like it's not a problem with you logging in or not being allowed to... something else is going wrong there based on your screenshot.
I was clicking around the site trying to get a similar error but couldn't. I did notice that if I click on the search icon in the top right, I get a "page not found" error which leads me to think there's still some updates and/or maintenance going on in the background... or a few things may have been broken by the updates. @RiverSeal @tyme @Jynx or @Shaz51 may be able to provide info on that.
The not being able to de-select underline is also interesting. It either sounds like a problem with your iPad's browser or hardware having issues selecting things, like the underline and emoji options, or some browser compatibility issue. It seems like all the same issue with the underline, inserting emojis and images... all down to you selecting those icons not working sometimes. If was a compatibility issue or even an issue with the updates in the background then I'd expect other people having the same or similar issues. Which leads me to think it's something with your particular iPad. Without seeing it in person and trying it, it's really hard to say. I probably asked before, but is there another device you could try logging in with just to test and see if you have the same issues? We probably just need to rule things out at this stage.
I do also wonder about the fact you're using an iPad and therefore I assume touching the screen to use the site if you have issues selecting other things while using the iPad? Some people do have skin that these touch screens can get a bit funny about. Do you have a stylus pen or mouse you could use with it by any chance? Maybe giving the screen a really good clean may help, but I doubt it unless it's noticeably got stuff on it. If these issues persist, then I definitely would recommend trying a different device, like a photo or computer/laptop if you have (or can get) access to one. Not easy if you dont, I know. Sorry about all the questions... it's just the 'tech support guy' in me coming out.
Riverseal, as you probably saw by now, has notified the technical team and you've reported it yourself, so you should hear back from them soon, and if it's not a problem their end, then they should have some other suggestions for you to try.
I know it's extremely frustrating for you, it is for anyone. But keep trying to let us know about any issues you have (every little clue helps) and hopefully we can get it resolved and it's one less thing you have to feel worries and anxious about.
