Hi @Lula.

If the article ever gets published, (it wasn't in today's paper) maybe I can upload a photo of it... hiding any identifying info.

I haven't heard of tapping.  What is it?

I havent had any issues logging in here but I mainly use my PC.  I have an adblocker on that so I dont think that would be an issue.  I know they're currently rolling out some updates to the forums, so maybe it was something to do with that??  I'm not sure if these updates are still happening.

Imusing my phone to reply now, and i do occasionally have an issue where I have to relogin, but thats, just an inconvenience, except when I forget my password... which has happened a couple of times.  The fact that the message said "something has gone wrong" makes me think it was a problem on the website end rather than your end.  It definitely wasnt down to you doing something wrong to get an error message like that, orherwise the error message would be telling you what you did wrong, like entering a wrong password for example. Hopefully it was just a glitch and these issues dont happen again for you.  I know it can be very frustrating for you, so fingers crossed its all fixed now and you can access the forum without issues.  If it does keep happening, definitely try to let us know and we can follow it up.

It sound like you did all the right things to troubleshoot the problem, so I really think it was just an issue on the website end.  Maybe other people had issues logging on at the same time.  I dont think it would be an iPad specific issue with so many people using them.  Do you have another device you could try logging on with if the problem happens again?  These things happen to everyone on the internet so try not to worry too much until it keeps happening over and over again.  Like I said, you did everything to fix it that I would have done and everytime ive seen an error  message like that on a website, its been an temporary outage or web maintenence issue  so ive just had to wait for ir to resolve itself.  So please dont feel too bad or stressed about it, it happens to us all.
