@Birdofparadise8 Honestly, it's just your basic chicken and leek risotto but just before I serve it I add crème fraiche. I don't add any extras like mushrooms or peas, just 2 chicken breasts, 1 leek and a cup of arborio rice. I sauté the sliced leek, add diced chicken, 2 cups of chicken stock and then about a cup of rice, then let the cooker do its thing. Just before I serve up I add parmesan and stir it through, then the creme fraiche and stir it through. It adds a creaminess to the risotto.
I've no doubt as a chef you would have a risotto recipe you could use 😃
I have every kitchen appliance known to man, it's like an addiction. I went into Retravision and they saw me coming. I went in to replace my $25 rice cooker and left with a new $80 (I think) rice and risotto cooker. I didn't use the risotto setting for ages and then thought I'd try it and bam! Risotto is a regular guest in my house! My Godson loved it and would be asking for seconds before he'd finished his first serve!
