I got some practice done, and talked with my friend Peter who's a fellow musician with the music performance unit I perform with. He's practising some Bach cello suites and arranging them for ukelele ensemble. He lent me a book of music he wrote for his mother's poetry; I've been looking at it, it's breathtakingly beautiful @greenpea, he'd like me to sing it.
My family is also dealing with my younger sister's escalating alcohol and drug addiction problem, her behaviour gets worse at this time of the year because it's the anniversary of my mother's death, and in January we have the anniversary of my brother's birthday and his death at age 25. Mum G on 02/04/1988, 3 years after Bruno, both were unexpected, and then 25/04 is G's birthday. [edited by moderator]
My sister's blacking out and telling everyone Dad's sick and in hospital when he's not, and then saying he's causing the problems or we're causing the problems. So I've had a take time out from her. I messaged her this afternoon to just say "Are you ok?". She messaged back saying yes. I'm tired now though. and spending the evening listening to a jazz concert and spending time with my cats, having had dinner.
How's your weekend been @greenpea ?
