You have had so much to deal with @Sophia1 but those small wins are great
I think most of us struggle to accept help at different stages - I certainly have - think that is the difference between knowing we need help and refusing to accept that we deserve it - one of those things that often go along with MI at times - maybe that is also a refusal to accept that we are unwell at times also!
So pleased to hear you husband acknowledged you kind words to him - it makes a difference when our gratitude is accepted with such.
I wish the days come and go quickly for you and the end of June and the rehab stage come along quickly. It will be tough for you but very much needed. You are being so strong through all the pain and I have real admiration for how you are coping
I am off antibiotiucs now and my chest infection has mostly cleared up - still a little tickle ocassionally and a few coughs but the fever and breathing difficulties have gone. My stomach pain is still hanging around but not as severe as it has been the last 2 days so that is a win also.
I feel mentally I am able to cope with things a little better - I still have my moments or days when I don't think I can do this anymore but I am getting through them!
I don't have DBT this week and I think that has helped my anxiety - it is something I need to try to perservere with and hope it gets easier as I become more comfortable in the group situation. I have my pdoc appointment still today and I need to talk to her about a few things - just hoping I can keep it together enough to do that. I will keep you informed on how it goes.
I hope there is a little light in your day today @Sophia1 and remember we can only do what we can do and that is enough
