Hi @Sophia1 yes re who you know. It tool me decades to realise that of course people employ people they like/know/get on with. I used to think it was all about skills/job knowledge. Oh and not getting the ‘hump’ and taking days off and leaving jobs.
Yes, back hadn’t been bothering me , but now it is. I don’t look after myself. That doesn’t help. No, I haven’t moved. But its getting closer to the ‘front of my mind’. Am schocked I haven’t been able to save more despite recent spate of work. Eg I paid a lump
sum off credit card, then reduced limit afterwards, so in a way seem worse off now if that makes sense. Guess it’s working towards longer term ‘fixes’ tho as opposed to thinking I am not that badly off.
Sorry for going on. Yes, it was an act of kindness/nice gesture re person trying to help me. maybe they were just being friendly. Sorry I haven’t seen you that much on here so I don’t know you situation. But thanks for asking and thanks for listening 😀 Nice.
