Yes I agree @Dimity I also think when you practice it you get better at it and realise more things that you are grateful for.

I'm grateful I had a good day today, got to play table tennis for 2 hrs with some other oldies like me.

I'm grateful that I managed to cross a few things of my to do list today, like mowing the lawn

I'm grateful I can have that the temperature has fallen and I can have a warm snuggle in my bed tonight, and a little sleep in tomorrow.
