I had a beautiful pommie couple as friends in my teens and 20s.  We made Yorkshire Puddings here in Melbourne. I visited them in the old country.  York Cathedral is fabulous.  That sculpture is my kinda thing!

I never felt the need to do those puddings myself, but appreciated her showing me roast beef and all other things I learned from them. They were good people even though they were perched on a Yammie 750. It was an early lesson in cultural eccentricities, along with fruit pudding for christmas.  Neither were part of my family food rep.
