  "Depression linked to cognitive decline, Alzheimer's, WA researchers find.

 

Depression may be a precursor to Alzheimer's disease and could be used in a test to screen those not genetically predisposed to the disease, researchers in Western Australia say.

The team from Edith Cowan University studied 460 cognitively normal West Australian adults aged 32 to 92 years old, who were not genetically predisposed to dementia......."
