Something’s not right

not coping

Re: not coping

I'm about the same as yesterday @outlander

Still struggling but at the moment able to manage it (I think)

Haven't done a lot today. Cooked dinner, no one complained so that was a bonus!!

Just sitting down with a hot drink and got BBT on. And of course talking to my gorgeous sis 💕

Have you been up to much today?

Re: not coping

@Kurrahow are you going also?
its been a while since we spoke!

Have you got a thread you can tag me to so i can keep up with your journey too?

Re: not coping

aww @Snowie your so sweet 😊 could say the same thing about you!
at least your managing for the moment, that's basically what im doing too. nothings changed just have to try and manage it and safely.
I haven't really done much either. have been up since 2 cause of pain but I had a few pickups from home and got a few orders ready for tomorrow. I went back over the assignment I was working on and then submitted it. ive skipped the second assignment for now. its honestly so stupid. it wants me to go onto the Microsoft 'help' and get instructions on how to perform certain things like insert a header, footer and table. stupid.
so ive gone onto the second module instead which half I already know and is just a refresher really on the medical terminology. huge module though. have been working through it the past 40 min and im not sure Ive really gotten through many of the topics they have!

Re: not coping

@Sans911 thinking of you too and wondering how your days been?

Re: not coping

Yep managing sounds ok at the moment. I have my psychologist tomorrow (by phone) so will speak to her about how I am going. I have managed to stay safe the last few days so at least that is something.

For your sake I am hoping you can get a bit more sleep tonight hun.

You will get there with your course hun, at least you know some of it anyway, that should help a little bit.

Have you got much planned for tomorrow sis?

Re: not coping

im glad you've been able to stay safe @Snowie that is a good thing and should be proud of yourself.
i do hope your psychologist can help abit too even though i know the phone call thing is making it tricker atm.
yeah ive already studied this part of the course so its mostly just reading and doing the little quizzes. ive only got 3 more of the smaller topics within the topic to go so almost up to topic 2 but i think ill stop there.

no real plans tomorrow. i do have a pickup first thing in the morning, my nurse and then a delivery. i need to go and get my click and collect things for mums birthday stuff but ill have to see how i go cause atm my stomach isn't very happy and is whats causing all the pain esp when moving around more. ive got till Tuesday arvo but im going to aim for tomorrow since shops only 10 min away from me. i think i have the kids from 330 till 9pm as well.
so much for no plans 🤦‍♀️

Re: not coping

I'm OK @outlander. Fairly quiet day but I did go out to the shops for some milk. I brought Mr A a little cardboard house-he's not that interested. And a new litter tray. It's actually a long underbed storage container because he wees outside the tray. Even now grr.

And I dropped off some toilet paper to a friend who's totally isolated due to multiple health problems. I spoke to her through her security screen but I didn't stay long as I know she's very uncomfortable and anxious.

Re: not coping

Haha @outlander no plans seem to have turned into a lot of plans!

The kids have got school tomorrow (well from home) so that will keep them busy the whole day. I have the psych but that is about it.

I finally finished a jigsaw puzzle today so think I might start on a new one tomorrow. Not much else to do when we are stuck at home.

Re: not coping

Mr A doesn't really seem to interested in new things does he? he likes his blanket though! @Sans911
strange he keeps missing the litter tray though, maybe its a habit?

that would be hard for your friend, i bet even though shes anxious and uncomfortable appreciated you visiting and dropping off toilet paper.

Re: not coping

it always does @Snowie 🤦‍♀️ i don't know why i always say no plans when theres always plans 😣🤷‍♀️

kids are on holidays here till ummm i don't even know lol. another week and abit i think then home school for more weeks and then apparently they are allowed to go back to school but itll be a rostered thing. no idea how that's going to work or what itll look like yet.
