Re: Not Coping

It's an opportunity for me to do something positive with my lived experience @Birdofparadise8

A teacher once told me, " freedom is what you do with what's been done to you."

I have a heart to give and to encourage.

Re: Not Coping

That sounds wonderful @Blackbird11

If we were talking about lived experience, would you be open to sharing anything with me or not? Please let me know if you don't want to discuss any of this, and we can talk about something else.

Re: Not Coping

As far as lived experience goes the community guidelines won't allow me to go into specific detail. What I can tell you is I've experienced childhood and adult trauma and I am Schizoaffective with C-PTSD @Birdofparadise8

Re: Not Coping

Is Schizoaffective schizophrenia and bipolar @Blackbird11. I don't know much about it.

Re: Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

Ah okay, I'm following now @Blackbird11

That must be hard. Are things getting better now?

Re: Not Coping

This sums up where I am at @Birdofparadise8

Re: Not Coping

I'll have a look when I can see it @Blackbird11

Do you work at all?

What are you doing for the weekend?

Re: Not Coping

I hope you're at a good point in your recovery @Blackbird11

It's definitely not linear; I need to work on relsing that.

One good thing I haven't had any SI since being discharged and still going strong there.

Re: Not Coping

That's really good to hear @Birdofparadise8, It definitely is not linear. I am currently finding it hard to be grounded. I need to implement some self-care strategies. I currently work casually as a home care assistant in the community. I plan to study and go to a flower show Sunday. Do you have any plans?
