I’ve had a bit of a challenging day @Eve7 probably the most difficult since being in here. Think it’s cause I was doing some worksheets the registrar left for me yesterday. Writing it all out on paper was a bit confronting.
I did see the consulting pdoc today though and I am being transferred to a private clinic but as a public patient. Have agreed to ECT and they are going to start a mood stabiliser. I’m a bit freaked out and really scared though. Never been there before. It’s all the unknowns. I did have a little read online but there wasn’t much info.

Thanks for the suggestion @Bow but I don't think I could start something. Emotionally and mentally I am just not up to it. I am just trying to get through each day as it comes.
@Eve7 that's what I made an appt. for last week and couldn't go through with it. I chickened out.
I haven't got the doctors until next Wednesday now.
It's just not worth the suffering anymore.

It is scary doing new things @Bow but if nothing else, the anaesthetic is nice as you float away.
I really hope you respond well. I’ve had a lot of ECT and I think it has helped. The loss of memory can be a challenge but if you keep a calendar and put things away (write a list of where things are) you should manage ok. People’s names are tricky but try and be friendly and they won’t notice you’ve forgotten their name. Sometimes I had a headache and some muscle aches but I usually have those most days.
I’ll be there with you 💜🙏💜

@Snowie Well done for telling a professional about your eating. That would have been so hard.
I'm sad you feel so hopeless and that both your psychs will be away at the same time 😞 That is awful.
Sending wishes for you to just get through each day and hour as it comes 💙

Slept a little last night. Was better than the night before so take that as a win 😏
Going to get another tattoo this afternoon. I think I might be addicted to them now!!
Hopefully I will be able to show you a photo of what I get done. It should be ok as it has no names or identifying things in it.
I did have a shower today which was very overdue, took the kids to school and went up the supermarket. Lots of little goals done 😁 Time for some fur baby cuddles.

Hi @Snowie ,
Sounds like your morning hasn't been too bad. Oh I do belive tattoos can be addictive lol.
My son (who has loads) has given me tattoo vouchers for gifts on several occasions. Each time I was so keen to get more. I've stopped at three but will never say never and could get another. Can't wait to see what you get!

I set some goals last night @hanami and got through them. I told myself if I didn't do them, I couldn't get a tattoo so at least that worked!!
I have 4 tattoos and then one full arm sleeve. I love them as they let me express myself through them. Each one has a special meaning behind it. I could show you my arm as it doesn't have any names in it, but the rest of them do.
I would love to see your tattoos too.

Oh wow @Snowie , that's awesome! I used to be one of those people who were a bit anti-tattoo but when my kids started getting them I began to see differently and now love them!
Hope it all goes well!
