Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

lovely poetic response

@Appleblossom

Yes I enjoy creating reading other's versions of continuance with underlying humour..

at times. I like to crank if up with direct dry humour...my humour often not noticed as too dry.

The painting of the tree is what it is, a painting where the more you are drawn to it the more you see if you look closely enough.

Subtle yet making a statement

truly grounding oneself and connecting with nature, earth

I love it

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Tigger has just bounced into the post.

Tigger has found his long time friend, his always friend, his forever friend Eeyore under his purple blanket which is very large. So there is plenty of room in there.

Yahtzee has no comparison to story writing like ours.😃

In fact I do not think that there is any story writing like ours 😌

I have spent two whole days writing to everyone, trying to keep everyone together, trying to tie stories together, trying to include my humour which often is  not even noticed as it is too dry.

I had to deal with government departments with situation with my family member who seems to be going backwards.

So I know how hard my keeping it all together is. I feel for you also.

I was meant to go out into the garden.

I am still at the computer desk.

My husband is not impressed.

My last explanation of writing to a bear, an owl, a pig, a donkey, a bat, a little bee, a gum nut baby, a black beetle, a kangaroo  was met with a strange look.

How am I going to tell him that the bear, the owl, the kangaroo, have gone elsewhere due to their circumstances. The black beetle, black sleek cat with slanted very wide green eyes and friend who has large sparkly wings, clinging versace sequinned gown, extremely high red prada boots and high gloss pink sequinned prada handbag to die for, along with nosy next door neighbour (Borish,) to secret garden that is not real secret garden, is keeping a close eye on all the comings and goings of so many beings. That my character is hiding under a very large purple blanket as I am so upset that I have upset my bestest best friend the donkey  who is upset that she has upset all of the creatures aforesaid. Did you need me to go  through them again dear? (Replying to husband)

What was that? Oh no I am not much just writing my story that I told you about. Yes. I wont stay on here too long. Yes I know that the sun is going down.

Yawn

Is that hee haw hee haw  coming from under the blanket?

@Sophia1

Sorry Tigger,

I wish I had something more to say right now but I am not feeling the best. I did giggle about your explanations to your husband as I always do. I am sorry that dealing with government departments is so hard along with keeping everyone here happy. Maybe you should let hubby on the computer a while and come back when I have settled down. I don't want to make matters worse. I do love you and the story writing thread. Sorry life is sometimes harder than it needs to be.

Excellent - Bouncy Tiggr Express Motorbike @Sophia1 I bet it's a Big Fast Bouncy Bike....

A "Fairy wearing very high red Prada boots, carrying a matching pink sequinned gucci handbag" -

Love it - Having not seen Prada boots or pink sequinned gucci handbags (or any gucci actually)....

As I remember (vaguely) - Pooh Bear eating all his own honey (thinking someone else ate it) - Is actually out of (in) one of the Original Stories.

I've not read them in 35 to 40 years - So only remember short bits.

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Red Prada Boots, that the Fairy was wearing - May have looked a little like these @Sophia1

Prada Leather Buckle Knee-High Boots in Red - Lyst

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Here's a Pink Gucci Handbag @Sophia1 @Oaktree Honestly, I've never seen any of these (Prada Boots or Gucci Handbags) in my life.

I think it's missing the Sequinns - To be honest, I don't know what Sequinns are....

Gucci Soho Leather Shoulder Bag in Light Pink Leather ...

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Oh, so Sequins look something like This....

These are Pink Sequinned Pants....

Gee, how much $$ does this stuff Cost (mind Boggles)...

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

LOL my friend @Adge

I think I've created a monster with Ariadne.  Diamond taste with a Kmart bank account.

Cost wise, think nothing under $1000 - shoes, handbags, pants. Not sure but I think the handbags start hitting >$20,000. The shoes are cheap at $1500.

I've just had an idea....Sooty goes shopping in Hollywood with Horrace and brings along fashion consultant Tigger while Geoffrey Rush analyses Paris, London and NY prices. Will have to give it some thought. Add in Tigger's motorbike, a secret garden, and a jam session what could possibly go wrong!

And I like @Oaktree 's purple blanket - can tie that in with Imperial purple - only Caesar's could wear purple garments back in 100 A.D.

Once again Sooty goes way off the plot . Cat Tongue

Might just hide under that Imperial purple blanket for awhile while I have a think.

Sooty the black, bilingual, cutarian, haut couture bandit cat.

PS @Oaktree you take care. 🌷🌼🌻

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Sooty & Horrace go shopping in Hollywood with fashion consultant Tigger @Flax Sounds exciting.

I've never been Overseas, certainly never been to Hollywood.

Wow, a $20,000 Handbag - Almost as much as my Corolla Car Cost, back in 2010....

I won't be affording a new Car anytime soon, so no Gucci Handbags (or Shoes, or Pants) either....

Since Purple is Imperial (Emperor's Colour) in 100AD, I'm not an Emperor - So maybe have to stop wearing my Purple Pants....
