Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Dear @Oaktree , the initial Bee story is towards the end of page 8 🙂

Kanga was happy that the friends were all together, and that Bee was safely on the end of Pooh's nose. She made some more sugar water, enough for Bee to drink and for Bee's wings. They were going to visit the hive...Kanga warned Tigger not to bounce too high near the hive, so as not to scare the bees. She tucked Roo safely into her pouch with Gumnut Baby, so as to prevent too much excitement for Roo. She whispered to Eeyore: "Would you take Piglet on your back? He is only a tiny Piglet..."

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Little bee shed a tear when she saw the sadness in Eeyores eyes, she understood. The bee
had a family back at the hive, but they didn't talk to her anymore. She could only wonder
what caused Eeyores gloom . . . & how to help cheer Eeyore up 🙂
The not lonely anymore little bee, was thrilled to be asked after, 'My heart is swelling with
joy & love! & my wings . . . ' little bee lifted up & flew over to Christopher Robins hand!
Christopher then raised it so that the bee was at eye-height with everyone in the group.
As the friends walked along, there was no need for words, the beauty that surrounded them
simply needed to be soaked in. There was every shade of green, bright & light, dark & deep.
All the colours of the rainbow, sprinkled around in every shape of flower 🙂 There were
birds & bugs, fluffy animals of all sizes & frogs in their damp spots & lizards laying in
the sun!
Pooh gave bee a fantastic opportunity when little bee was asked to show the group where
there was more honey. Unfortunately the bee was unable to introduce the group to any bee
friends, because little bee didn't have any. But bee could find the way to the hive even if
it was going backwards with blindfold - she had made the trip so many times to she her
children, in better days when they wanted to see her.
The wise Owl was right to warn the group to be cautious, getting stung hurt a lot . . .
particularly when it was your own kind! So little bee asked if it could snuggle in with Roo
& Gumnut in kind Kanga pouch, when they reached the hive. The little bee explained 'my
hive does not have bad bees, it's just that I could not see them & not remember being stung
before. I'm sure if you ask nicely they will share their honey with you, I just need the comfort
of snuggling within the safety of my new group of friends <3'.
With that the little bee pointed in the right direction & another adventure began . . .

Dear Friends,

Eeyore was only too happy to allow little piglet to ride upon her back as she was made of sturdy stuff.

Eeyore was gloomy a lot because of her past, she had been hurt, rejected and abandoned. She knew only too well what it was like to have no friends or family, just like bee, but she had her new friends now which cheered her up immensely. Just having friends chat to her makes Eeyores' day and causes it to be a little less lonely.

All my love,

Eeyore

I recall you mentioning something now. It is not my place to discuss that part of your life.

You, however can if you feel the need and feel safe enough to. You also can choose to leave it where it is back in the past for now.

You do have so much strength and compassion for others regardless. More often than not, those of us who have had episodes of abuse, within different relationships as well, can become all the stronger pushing through the pain.

I hope that life is being a little kinder for you now after everything that you have been through over the last few years since I have known you.

lovely to have you on board the merry band who are following you.

Life can bring pleasure in the strangest places. Sometimes if we are not careful we can miss these special gifts.

Christopher Robin, welcome.

Hello @Exoplanet

Little bee

what does ❤️ mean please?

Tigger dislikes the computer as much as Sophia and will probably at some stage manage to confuse everyone including him and her (Tigger and Sophia- the confusion begins)

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Hello @Ripples

I am sorry that I did not respond to your post addressed to me. We used to have kangaroos at the back of our property where we used to live. Now we have a beautiful gum tree that attracts all manner of birds, including colourful parakeets, magpies, crows and pesky galahs, white cockatoos that destroy the leaves.

A few days ago we had kookaburras each day moving around the park opposite and also in our tree. Such a welcoming sound.'

I missed the post delivery timeto reply to your originial post (Ihope that I have not yet confused you)

@Oaktree @Lilaca @Exoplanet @NatureLover @Appleblossom @Shaz51 @Anastasia

The post is delivered by a post bat at a time that suits the bat on waking up. The bat is not a morning person at all. Then time needs to be spent finding food and avoiding other predators?

The post bat grumbles often.

(Sorry could only find a chicken, duck, dove and bat so went with the bat.)

Tigger is confused. He awoke after a long rest hiding under his blanket (following on from last post ) where he was invisible to all. Tigger believed this anyway.

He remembered meeting many new friends and was excited to catch up with them again.

He knows Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin, Eeyore, Little Bee, Gum nut babies, Kanga, himself, yet cannot remember Roo. Are you Roo @Anastasia ? Has he missed out any other new friends?

He had an unusual dream whilst he slept about how he found a tiny hut in a beautiful garden. He carefully looked around but could not find anyone. Then he noticed a cat staring at him, or glaring in fact. He attempted to approach the cat to introduce himself, however the cat hissed and jumped up onto one of the outdoor chairs.

This is probably what woke him up. He felt very small and that he did not really fit in with all of the other merry band of friends. They all seemed to have purpose. He tried to join in with a cheerful voice. He thought of new exciting adventures even.

He knew that he was quite big and perhaps that was the reason as he was clumsy at times.

Then he thought about Eeyore and how sad he had been. One of the friends, he could not remember which one already, had thoughtfully reassured Eeyore that he was loved just as much as everyone else.

Tigger told himself that, even though he was different, his differences were traits that his friends loved him for.

Everyone has something about themselves that they do not like and others might not even notice what that is. Tigger told himself that he was able to accept everyone in his new group of friends, no matter how different they were as they all had loving, kind hearts.

This was good for Tigger and he must learn to not judge himself and accept his own differences as he so easily does with others.

Tigger has a photographic mind. He decided to attach a photograph of the secret little hut with the beautiful calming garden and grumpy cat. SSShh. This must be kept a secret, so that it can remain the secret little hut........(yes you get it.)

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

oh gosh I would not have worked that out thank you Eeyore @Oaktree

I just wrote a whole chapter if you have time to read it.

The picture won't appear until approved.

How are you finding the thread?

I struggle a bit with the two name scenario, when I am not feeling the best.

I am enjoying the overall concept though.

Hello Tigger @Sophia1 and everyone,

I believe I am Owl, however I have not found my voice. Too much going on for me and no capacity to dig deep for my inner child. I am in awe at all of your letters, a talented bunch you are!

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Hello, I see that life is difficult for you. I am so sorry about that. During the 2019 - 2020 bushfires my dad died and adding on COVID 19 I became sad, but of late my dad has been helping me beyond the grave. All I have to do is think "What would dad do with this problem?" The solution then comes to me. I feel dad is all around me, protecting me from the other side. How amazing??
I wish you well. I hope you get some rest in between all you have to do.
