mine ran away to other side of world from his family. used to make my mother write to his family in english.
not long after he got her, his German fiance came out . only she was pregnant.and it could not have been his .. he claims he met her again in the street in adelaide in 80s lol he prob went looking for her ha ha.
yes also wish parents had broken up prob since age 10.
he was mr ''coercive control '' was never a term for it back then, nothing she did was good enough, she got yelled at on birthday in grade 5 when he found out how much a gift cost . eg , plus every day with floors dirty etc, ie I hate myself etc etc
he never really spoke to us at all. sort of went from hugs at breakfast table to him controlling tv set. only time spoke was to borrow .22 and he usually said 'yes' if was game enough to ask. pretty sure he had PTSD i saw a show with kursk veteran being interviewed and he spoke about nightmare of trying to make it 1500kms home on his own. told my father and he asked how he stopped it? ie he had had the same dream everynight for like the rest of his life ..
