Thanks @Shaz51. I'd also worried that you may think I asked it of you then didn't bother to check in. All sorted.
So, how are you doing? Sounds like you are busy - in a good way I hope.![]()

Rest days are good for us @Shaz51, but I hope that you are well with it.
I'm immersed in my new studies, and only tear myself away when my concentration burns out and I need to take a break. I'm just about to take a break before rain arrives. I'm trying to remember my daily walks as I've been a bit slack lately. We need fresh inspiration sometimes.
Thinking of you, my friend. I hope all is well with you.
xx

You take care too @MDT. It's so easy to fall into a slump, isn't it? For one reason or another. I was wondering what I was doing there - online course - in the first week - asking myself what I was trying to prove. Why bother? But then I really got into it and answered my own question by the exhiliaration I was getting from it when I stopped asking the question.
I've never encountered a 2000 word assignment before. 800 was a bit of a challenge because I haven't done formal education for ages, and never to that extent that I can recall. I'm not daunted, though. Challenged in a good way.
I guess your university year will soon conclude - the end is in sight? Then a break?
Did I read somewhere that you're not a native Australian? New Zealander, perhaps?
Hope you're doing alright, @MDT. Sending best wishes.

It was my pleasure - itβs so lovely to hear from you ![]()
Receiving a Birthday wish from your niece sounds like a wonderful surprise and Iβm so pleased that she was able to celebrate your special day!
Thatβs great that youβve developed a passion for studying! Completing a thirteen week course sounds like a wonderful place to start and I feel really excited in terms of where this could take you ![]()
I also love to study! Iβve recently completed a few online courses and Iβm hoping that Iβll be able to complete one more before the end of the year!
As I read this part of your story, I could really relate to some of the benefits that you described - especially the sense of purpose and direction
In my experience, Iβve also found that studying provides me with a sense of hope that perhaps I can create a different future for myself ![]()
Take kind and gentle care of yourself,

Yes, study is wonderfully satisfying to me @ShiningStar. I just wish I had found it so in my youth, but it has sustained me through many years of my adulthood when I was more receptive to it. The current course is fully engaging for mind and time, and is certainly not the simple course I thought I had entered! I am so glad to be immersed in it again.
Still in lockdown here - but it's something of a mixed bag. Early rain, sunny between occasional overcast clouds. It will level out soon, I think. ![]()
