The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Hi @CheerBear

Talk to me!!!Talk to me!!!

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Thanks @Shaz51 😊 And hugs right back!

Looking forward to seeing the pic @Sans911. How's your evening going?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Haha love the pic and caption @Sans911 😁

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Thanks for dropping by with a hug @Shaz51

@CheerBearMy evening is ok. One cat is curled up next to my leg, the other at the end of the bed on his rug. I am listening to the rain tumble down, a sound I like as I find it soothing, like washing things away, bringing new life to the earth.

I was checking out my memories on Facebook before, and I came across a really nice photo of me at a friend's wedding in Cyprus. I had my hair and makeup done (a rare thing for me to do as it's not something I worry about usually). I am tanned and looking alright even, and a friend commented that at first she didn't recognise me. That was nice, and it was pleasant to look back at happier times.

How has your day been, and how are the little fish?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Love that picture in my head of cats cuddled up and listening to the rain @Sans911 😊 It's one of those purrfect combos I think (especially on the times when it coincides with freshly cleaned, fluffy warm sheets too)!

That's sounds like a really nice memory to have come across too. How long ago was that?

My day was pretty good thanks. I have a cold and wasn't feeling very well today so I spent most of it on the lounge with my cats. Or more correct - the single cat that likes me for more than being a heat source at night 😉 I also had a someone come over for company and the offer of some help and cold and flu meds if I wanted, which felt really nice to hear. He's a good one 😁

The littlish people are going well thanks. I had just one home for a couple of nights but am back to all here now. Two were pretty tired tonight so I liked lights out o'clock. I've decided one kid is about eleventy million times easier than three haha.

Do you have much on for the rest of the week?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

So nice to hear you had a nice day @CheerBear. And good company is always welcome. What a lovely person to be so helpful and kind. You have quite a job on your hands with your little ones, but you seem to cope pretty well.

I think no children is eleventy million times easier than any number of children 🙂 But kids can be so cute and great. I saw a video about an argument between a set of girl twins and a boy who were all toddlers, and it was about rain. The boy said his mum told him it was sprinkly rain, but the girl twins insisted their mum was right, and it was definitely raining. The argument continued back and forth for a bit, until one of the girls poked the boy in the chest. He looked very sad and said 'you poked my heart' and repeated this phrase several more times. It was totally adorable.

The memory photo on fb was 8 years ago when I was 40. I have lots more wrinkles and grey hair since that time 🙂

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

I think how I cope can be anything from "I've totally got this, it's all good", to seriously thinking it's a circus, to completely wrecked and barely hanging in there @Sans911. Somehow we get through though ☺

Your no children comment gave me a good giggle. After I shuddered at the idea of three toddlers altogether, I awwwed at the poked in the heart. Definitely adorable ❤. I have some pretty cute videos of mine doing all kinds of funny and sweet things. One was an awesome story teller at a tiny age and used to come up with outrageous stories and excuses about why they couldn't do things (like go to bed or wear clothes in public haha).

I didnt know your age until now. Thinking about your hair has me curious to know what you look like (it's probably completely different to how I picture), though I understand I can't know that. It's funny thinking of the people here and what they'd be like in person.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

You've probably gone to bed now @CheerBear

You've given me a little smile and warm feelings for a short while. Your kids sound pretty amazing, as do you.

I have pretty straight, boring mousey brown hair with grey streaks. It's about shoulder length now as I haven't had it cut in ages. I cut my own fringe. I usually can't maintain curls or  perms as they fall out within a short space of time.

We'll, I'll say Goodnight now until I catch up with again

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing
