Hello @Zoe7

I felt your fluttering past when I read your messages of support..

Thank you so much.,

I know that you have known me for a while and understand when I say that I am not good at reaching out to others for help for myself..

I am happy that I was able to share photographs of 2 of my cats with you...have to look for the other one..

You also resonate with this

@Former-Member  also  💜

Re: Living with Ourselves

Thanks @Sophia1  supposed to be leaving tomorrow morning now, site hasnt signed paperwork for the money apparently , so maybe they are holding out for someone else lol. Anyway its getting a bit late in day to not know for sure if its happening. just helps the negativity and makes me wish I wasn't going lol

Hope things are okay for you

way too much food and stuff here, not prepared properly , am eating and throwing stuff while cleaning a bit so as not to be too shocked at state of place when I get back (with eyes unused to mess lol)

Re: Living with Ourselves

Hello @RedHorse

I read your response on the social spaces. wheel of emotions thread

the last one being about happiness..

the first one I responded to as only just found again!

Some lovely feelings there for you that you have written about.

Lovely that you can experience them.

Feel free to write over here if you feel comfortable enough..

I write great essays....letting you know in advance..if that is offputting I do understand..

Just wanted to welcome you here and let you know that there will always be a space for you here.

take care

Sophia  💜

Will be a game of survival if I do go there anyway lol

Re: Living with Ourselves

Hi @Sophia1

It's good to hear from you. Welcome to the Emotion Wheel discussion. You've found it at the perfect time, when we are talking about the positive emotion of happiness.

I'd say that I am feeling simply content in this moment, having come in from the garden. I love spring with the warmer weather and new growth everywhere. So far I'm happy with the way my edibles are coming along.

Yesterday I drove into town and completed a few routine tasks, as well as getting my reading glasses repaired by a young man, free of charge.

I was so impressed with his attitude and service to me as a "walk in" that I made an appointment to have my eyes tested for new glasses. I'm well overdue and decided to treat myself (and hang the expense) so that I may go back to reading books and writing letters etc - something that has previously brought me joy.

I hope you don't mind me sharing this random story here. It just feels right to post about it since we've come over from the happiness thread.

Thanks again for your message. I hope you are doing well and enjoying your day.

Take care, RedHorse 🌹🐴

Re: Living with Ourselves

Hello @RedHorse and @Sophia1 , @TAB , @Zoe7 , @Anastasia

@RedHorse , your description of the assistance you were given with your glasses, and your response was really pleasant and lovely. It is great, when there is a lot around that is depressing, to hear of very pleasant interactions between people. Your introduction was also refreshing and enjoyable:

"I'd say that I am feeling simply content in this moment, having come in from the garden. I love spring with the warmer weather and new growth everywhere. So far I'm happy with the way my edibles are coming along."

While I have been aware that there have been a few rough patches for you, it sounds as though things are relatively stable at the moment. And, as a result, that you are able to enjoy and appreciate the good aspects of life. It is really nice to gather those sentiments from what you have written and conveyed today. Thank you

With Best Wishes

@HenryX

Re: Living with Ourselves

I'm glad that you can share your struggles @Sophia1 💖

I hate that you go through them, but I'm here to listen.
You are always so kind and caring to everyone.
Someone very close to me had surgery today and they just told me they need more surgery. Feeling really devastated.
Not sure what to do.
