not feeling good

Re: @Re: not feeling good

Good on you for going for a walk @BlueBay . Sorry today is turning out to be a not so good one.

Do you have any distractions you could manage to do?

Ive been doing some crochet this morning, but have to try and tidy my mess.

A coolish morning here, looking like a pleasant day weather wise. 💕💕💕

Sending good vibes your way @BlueBay . Good work for getting out for a walk this morning. I also like walking when it's a little cooler.

Is there anything you can do it improve you day, even something small?

Hang in there @BlueBay

Sending lots of good vibes and hugs your way.

Re: @Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

You seem to be focusing on your ED more lately and I am wondering if this is because it's easier to think about that than your MIL and end-of-life issues.

Which is normal - nothing wrong with that - it seems as if the old lady has been hanging on for ages and that can happen - my mother did - it's really hard on everyone in the family - I understand.

But it can't last forever - it just seems like it.

And your daughter and her partner are looking for somewhere else to live - I get it - of course you have loved having D and A with you all these months but you and Huffnpuff have reached the stage of empty-nesting and this is taking time to eventuate - it will be different when you are on your own with him and perhaps when all this is over you will both be able to concentrate on your marriage - at least you will have the space to run your home without so much interference -

I wish you the best - so much happening and you are the glue that holds it all together - time for you to take it easy - though I know myself - there have been times when I have felt as if I have been holding it all together with my stomach muscle - not fun -

You are getting by - maybe your feelings fluctuate a great deal right now and why should they not - this time won't last forever -

Thinking of you a lot -

@BlueBay I hope your day gets a bit better for you

I've been doing a Harry Potter train station lego with my 13year son,  it took 2 days but it looks great This morning doing it with him I just felt sad all the time doing it and don't understand why, I'm still feeling down,  I'm thinking my meds aren't working anymore, I'm still in bed just going on hear, I had to contact lifeline late last night they are doing a trial where you can text them instead of talking to someone, it was really good..

I just don't get why one minute I  can be ok and the next I'm down, the time seems to be going so slow to see my psychiatrist till 30th October.

Here's the finished train stationHere's the finished train station

Re: @Re: not feeling good

@saturnzoon

Think living with a traumatic past just isnt easy.

We can do things to keep us going here & there which u r doing but its hard to feel happy all the time

Thanks for sharing that about lifeline.

I think meds cant fully stop it either. Sure they take the edge off it & help us sleep.

On meds i can still feel stuff going on in the back of my mind & still feel tension in my jaw when i get stressed.

You are doing some good things to help yourself tho.

The average person works 8hrs of the day & most of us on dsp have to pass those hrs away doing other things. Its not easy filling in those hrs especially when feel down

Re: @Re: not feeling good

Hey @saturnzoon
I know how you feel. I feel pretty rank today actually. Been trying to take it easy but it's not alleviating any of my anxiety. I've had a stressful start to this week. But I am all okay about that now. Idk if I am tired from lack of energy or tired from being fed up or feeling exhausted.
It is what it is I guess.
I feel sad too.
I think this perhaps the reality of MH. It just comes and goes.
