Taking the plunge

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member I did have a feeling things were like this for you. Minute by minute, hour by hour , day by day, it's all you can do. I understand why everything is on hold, including your life, this must be so difficult, that being an understatement. I hope your son and daughter and families will visit, it would give you and hubby a lift and memories to treasure. Fingers crossed they can make it.

Gee your psych is a busy lady, some people put so much into their lives, they are amazing. I like the sound of her dogs. My Maggie -May was looking up at me this morning with those googlie eyes she has, melt an ice burg she would.

I think we are at 14 degrees today, a far cry from Friday which was 31, no complaints from me though. I've had my shopping delivered from Coles this morning, so I'm enjoying some grapes for breaky. I only get a delivery once a month. Hope you manage something for you today @Former-Member

self-care avoiding any misunderstandings....triggers...

this thread has now become very busy for my mindset at the moment

enjoy yourselves....take care

thank you all for all of your kind wishes over a period of time....

Re: Taking the plunge

Thats beautiful @Maggie, thanks so much.  And I love that there is the little puppy in the pic too.  Made me cry.  Sadly I dont have a good handle on my emotions lately.

I hope your meeting with your therapist today goes well.  I'll be thinking of you, along with the lovely cool weather you've finally got down your way.

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member ❤️💐 - glad to read your son and daughter are visiting and you are not alone at this difficult time. Never realised you had children.

@Maggie - That must of been such a relief to hear from your social worker. Your reaction normal as I know she is your lifeline and when alone that means everything. Let us know how today with her goes. I think my daughter has to try the iron tablets first before being offered an infusion. Concerned as she is not good with taking daily tablets. Her iron was so low and would explain the way she had been feeling.

My friends lung cancer is agressive. I am praying hard for him. This together with medical care I feel confident he will beat this - but he is in for the fight of his life. His wife is a sister to me. I may visit tomorrow but when people are going through this it is hard to know when the right time to see them is.

My husband is unwell today due to his injection. Am keeping a close eye. It's a day for cross stitching here, windy, cloudy and humid - hope it brings some much needed rain.

Hope everyone's day is relaxing. A warm hello to @Former-Member@CheerBear@Former-Member@greenpea@Appleblossom@utopia@Sans911@Former-Member@TAB@Faith-and-Hope and all xx

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @greenpea 👋 - working in the garden is so peaceful and therapeutic, a lovely way to spend the morning. If you have any chance of getting a few pics of it would love to see it 💕
