Thank you for all your messages of support. Have a joyful festive season!

By the way, I bought new dance heels. And I've been to dance events for two consecutive weekends

Re: Putting yourself out there

Nice @Spirit_Healer ! Thanks for sharing and taking us for a tour 🙂

Re: Putting yourself out there

Looking great @Spirit_Healer!  It must feel great to have your own place and just make it look and feel like your own space... your home.

Re: Putting yourself out there

Did you draw those pictures ?

I feel a little jealous of your decor ! My place is messy !!

Cool

Re: Putting yourself out there

@Spirit_Healer I'm so happy for you! There's something so healing and rewarding about decorating and having things just the way you like them!

You've done a great job! Thank you for sharing with us. Did you draw that pretty lady dancing? Beautifully done!

And wonderful that you are continuing your dancing 💃 ❤️ 😊 🫂

Re: Putting yourself out there

Yes, @Healandlove, that's a bigger version of the same dancing emoji you put in your last message!

I just realised that I have been doing salsa and bachata dancing for almost 14 years!

@tyme

Re: Putting yourself out there

love how the decor's coming along!! hope it's feeling more 'homey' now @Spirit_Healer and 14 years of dancing!? wowww that's amazing!! has it always been salsa and bachata, or were there other dance styles you've done too?

Re: Putting yourself out there

Haha, @rav3n , you got me started!

First, there was callisthenics when I was in primary school.

Then I was getting too much pain from the flexibility stretches, so I swapped it for Taekwondo in secondary school.

At uni, I was part of a student society that taught each other/ invited guests as instructors to teach one style every two to three weeks.

So, I dabbled in:

  • Salsa
  • Bachata
  • Meringue
  • Lindy-hop
  • West Coast Swng
  • Charleston, and
  • Zouk

They all have their own music genres, it's really enjoyable both to listen to the music and to dance, of course!

Re: Putting yourself out there

Oooh you can do LINDY-HOP @Spirit_Healer ?? With all the swinging about and leaping around? I admittedly have only ever seen a couple videos of the style but it's always SO IMPRESSIVE!! 😍

Re: Putting yourself out there

this is so impressive!! i haven't heard of some of these dance styles but now i will be googling them, thanks for sharing!! @Spirit_Healer i've recently been interested in getting into callisthenic actually, but i'm not a very flexible person so i'm slowly starting at a VERY beginner level. it's so lovely to see how much passion you have for dance
