self care -- Food, Salt , Sugar , Water

Re: self care -- Food, Salt , Sugar , Water

I cannot believe you still have chocolate from Christmas @Former-Member, reckon Mr Darcy knocked off all we were given in a week.

Re: self care -- Food, Salt , Sugar , Water

Hi @Former-Member - I have a cavoodle - cavalier poodle cross. She's gorgeous but getting older and slower. Content with going for a walk in the morning and late afternoon and then sleeping most of the time in between. She's wonderful company.

Don't worry about the Easter eggs. At least they were mini ones and unwrapping the foil probably slowed you down. I've started nibbling on the choccies myself.

Happy break everyone. Say hello to Mr Shaz, Mr Darcy and your cavoodle.

Re: self care -- Food, Salt , Sugar , Water

It is a beautiful morning here, planning on heading out into the garden shortly with hounds in tow @Former-Member.

@Shaz51 hope you are coming good and back pain easing too.

@soul Mr Darcy walks our whippets, part of his routine.

Now the eggs are finished it will be back to eating the healthy stuff, nothing else in the pantry.

My step count for the week - surely that's worth a couple of hot cross buns and some chocolate eggs.

Re: self care -- Food, Salt , Sugar , Water

Well done @soul
I joined the dog walk today. Curry & rice for tea with a cucumber, tomato, onion salad.

Re: self care -- Food, Salt , Sugar , Water

Well done @soul

your dinner sounds great @Former-Member, you like curry hot or mild xx

Re: self care -- Food, Salt , Sugar , Water

Medium @Shaz51 but you can get nice spicy ones without heat, I feel that too hot takes from the spice How about you Shazzle Dazzle?

Here's a bit of food trivia: chilli heat is measured on the Scoville scale, something you might tuck into the gray matter just in case you end up on 'The Chaser'

Re: self care -- Food, Salt , Sugar , Water

hello @soul @Shaz51 @Former-Member

goodness me soul I think that many steps warrants diving into the chocolate vat!

breakfast : healthy same old

lunch light rye ciabatta rolls, various lettuces, baby spinach, rocket, beetroot, spanish onion, prosciutto, turkey and ham sliced, kalamato olives, continental cucumber, baby trussed tomatoes (sounds fab doesnt it all the fancy names)

dessert: planned - mini magnum icecreams, classic or almond nuts

dessert: eventuated - sister bought freshly baked apple pies from the bakery ( these should not count against me as I didnt buy them and could not be rude and refuse?)

dinner: I am just having a salad as am still full from lunch, cooking some chicken for husband to have with salad.\

I have a large haighs chocolate easter egg that a young lady I met during my hospital period gave me (she had bpd and I absolutely loved her. if i ever had a daughter i would love one like her)
