So wherabouts (in general terms) are you @Daughterdid? 🙂
Yes, lavender can be grown from seed, but theseedlings are tiny and fiddly, and so are a bit tricky to grow. Cuttings are the more usual way of propogating lavenders, if you can get hold of some.

An aunt of mine many years ago grew a tamarilo from seed @Smc she lived in Adelaide suburbs at the time which is frost free. Do you grow edibles @Adge?
@Daughterdid do you preserve any of your produce?

I'm certainly interested in edibles @Former-Member Especially fruit trees.
No, I haven't grown any for many years.
Except for my Lilly Pilly tree, which has tiny tasty pithy fruits on it.
It's just been cut down low, so I won't be getting any fruits on it for a long time.
I used to grow Cape Goosberries years ago, but they all died out.
They were one of my Grandmother's favourites, she used to make jam from the ones she grew (in Brisbane).

I have one surviving Rosemary (I used to have 2), I love Rosemary & it's drought-hardy.
I don't eat it though.
I have 2 small Olive trees, but it will be many years before I see any olives. They take a lot of soaking, before you can eat them.
I have a small Lemon tree, maybe too small to fruit.
Lemons fall on my shed from the neighbour's tree, so sometimes I use those lemons.
My back neighbour grows lovely Blueberries, & sometimes she gives me a few.

Oh that's a shame @Shaz51
You just reminded me - I grew parsley for many years (it kept self-seeding itself).
But it all died out, several years ago.

@Adge@Shaz51I have a forest of parsley... I brought seeds from the Italian Parsley I was growing at our previous address with me when we moved here, 18 years ago, and it has been very cheerfully self seeding all over the place since then. 🙂
It's quite pretty when it flowers. I use it in flower arrangements like a greenish gypsophlia.
