@tonys

Go to any post where @Sophia1 is tagged. Click on her blue name. That will take you to her profile. There you will find a list of threads she has been responding to. Then you just click on the one you are interested in.

You can also just go to your own profile too. Look to the left on the notifications page. I think the top line of around 4 options is your profile. It’s written in blue writing.

I hope that this helps you find where @Sophia1 has written to you.

Re: Introduction

Oh beaut..     I'll try the my profile suggestion,  Beats going the   bin thing on my computor.

Gone are the days when a fella could get a half a eaten burger and Pepsi to wash it down

with out of the bin.   I  had some charity mob come here and take a half ton bin from the cool room.   Made me feel bad that we use weird looking fruit for ammo.   Where's this world headed hey.   There's enough hungry eyes looking at me here,   better go.  Enjoy your tea mate.

Thanks  @Oaktree            tonys    mb 1

Re: Introduction

Hi @tonys

A few days back you confided a few traumatic things that happened to you as a child. I don’t think I responded appropriately because quite frankly I didn’t know what to say and I didn’t want you to relive your trauma.

I am so sorry for the horrors you lived through with the old man you used to live with. You were just a child and you didn’t deserve any of it! It left you with physical scars that you will live with forever which must be a hard reminder.

Then when you thought you were free of people who could hurt you because you were living on the street you lived through another terror.

You are so strong and you are a survivor. I admire your resilience and strength. You say that your brain is wired differently so it doesn’t affect you that much! If that is true then that truly is a blessing.

Sending you hugs,

Meggle

Re: Introduction

Oh   @Oaktree   thats very sweet of you my friend,   I  really hope you haven't  been thinking on that,   but then I guess it shows you are thoughtful.

I  must set you mind at ease though. . .   I'm  really built to take it mate.  Not totally sure why,  but I seem to be able to endure what usually wrecks other people.  Example.  I have a perfectly good hot water service,  yet I always shower in cold water year round.  People think I'm nuts but I really truly don't feel it.  I like a fire and such,  but occasionally go to the city and sleep rough,  and I actually

enjoy it.

Maybe it the autism,   more likely,  the brain injury.   If people ask for my story,   apart from one,  I'm an open book and enjoy telling them my storries of street survival.   Street survival  is a big book  of many stories,  and I guess most in these threads must still be doing it tough or they wouldn't be here.     Sane forums was my first social experience with a computor.  With great difficulty,  I joined after a nasty stroke.   So bad was my condition,  I thought it was a live chatroom for disabled dating.

Boy   O H  Boy  was I wrong.  So sane were patient,  figured out I was harmless and

9 months later I'm still here.   Barely. . .

So.   I love  telling a story  but I tell people in case they get triggered,

}a]      ya  been warned..!     {b}      Please don't ever feal sorry for me.   I m really not that good

in the sob story arena.   Funny thing is My weakness is bullies,  and troles and Alpha males,

and personal attacks.  Had 3 in 8  months .   I think thats  pretty  good..

Your on this thread to laugh,  be appalled,  at my bad manners and share a good yarn.

Not one thing you've said   needs apology or explanation. In fact  I near wet myself at a couple of yours already laughing myself of the couch. . .     Were good as gold mate.

Relax and have a great evening my friend. . .   Hope that post came across o k

Re: Introduction

Hey there @Sophia1 .   I have a confession.   I abandoned my post   too watch Mr Ed

the talking horse.    Speaks volumes about my level of education.    We'll   A strange thing

happened this evening.   About a dozen of my old posts   reappeared  from Motions old

thread,   from way back.  Well I thought the most logical thing of coarse.  Ive simply

travelled back in time.   But Motion sent me and a few others a long post.   A  very nice,  but sad one.  I don't know for sure because I  haven't been on the motion thread for ages and I'm not much of an archaeologist,  but I think someone has upset him bigtime,  and he's going for good.   So I wrote a few kites and tried to get him to join us here.  He is such a cleaver and humble fella and I would hate to see him go.   Maybe use your  lasso,  well hog tie him and bring here.  Anyway,  Hope he joins us in toon town.

How ya going anyway friend.    Bones n raw meat ya say.  Mate ,   if I can boot the buzzards of him,   Ive been carving a few slabs of that drunk I told you about,  down the ally.   Says organ doner on the chunk I'm hokin into right now  so its legal. . .

Book keeper suggested McDonalds,   Told her straight. . .   don't  be disgusting,   We  got standards in this  town. . . .

Well  Now I got a bead on you,   I'll try posting  in your old town  tomorrow arvo. . .

I'm  really   tired today.   Robbing little old ladies really takes it out of a man.

Your attire did not go unnoticed by the way.  .  . !

Sleep well old friend ,   Well done on the banter.  till the morrow. .   tonys   mb1

Re: Introduction

Howdy pardners!

Had to replenish my supplies so I've slipped into toon town to fill my saddlebags and have a cheeky whiskey or two... Taking a few boxes of carrier pigeons too.

This sheriff is pretty proud of you ruffians, you haven't burned the town to the ground and so I say bloody good job you! @tonys @Oaktree dare I say, you might be becoming... Law abiding citizens!

Pretty excited, I thought I spotted a lion on my way in. It was in a tutu? Perhaps the travelling circus came through. Hoping it finds a spot in toon town it likes to lounge in sometimes.

I haven't yet taken stock of all the happenings in toon town, this sherrif has been slack. Sometimes I need my travels in the desert, wide open spaces, just me and the stars. But I'm taking carrier pigeons this time. After all, the sheriff can't stay away too long or lord knows what kind of mischief you lot might get up to!

Glad you're all still feeling safe on this space and treating each other so kindly, it warms this tattered old heart to see.

I know there are a few tumbleweeds rolling around at the moment, but this old saloon is like a cat, it's got plenty of lives yet. The residents may go wandering for a while, but as long as bones of the town are there we can come back anytime and rebuild whatever we want.

Tonys I'm hoping your kites reach their destination and succeed. That would be wonderful! I've chucked out a few tentative kites of my own, I hope they get through...

Sending mischief and support vibes to you all

LeChuck xxxxxxx
