Something’s not right

Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

yes i got the rest of my assignment done and submitted done grocery shopping online and then jsut watched netflix before work. @PizzaMondo im at work now but time seems to be standing still esp since my pain levels are also off the charts today

Re: Not Coping

Hey @tyme

How has your day been?

Re: Not Coping

@PizzaMondo, I’m in front of the fan right now, trying to stay cool. I had lots of water, including coconut water with added salt, and I’ll be having dinner soon to get more salt into my body. I couldn’t get myself to cook some fish, so I’ll be eating whatever my parents made 🙂.

@Birdofparadise8  I don’t think the heat is helping. I may also have a genetic predisposition for low BP. When my grandmas were young they both had low BP, now I think they have high BP issues. I hope it gets under control, I’ll see another GP mid of this month, good GPs get booked out.

@outlander, yeah it’s frustrating. I wish I understood this issue before, because it may have been contributing to migraines all along and I didn’t know. I’m getting more blood tests done tomorrow as well, this fatigue is crippling. They say exercise for fatigue, but I feel like I’m moving mountains by even getting out of bed, I don’t even know where to start. I was up on my feet yesterday, and I’m so damn exhausted now. Everything shouldn’t be so exhausting

Re: Not Coping

oh im hearing you @creative_writer the fatigue is actually shocking. i use to have adhd symptoms and now ive gone from not being able to stop moving to struggling to get out of bed. i could sleep for years and i think i would still be tired. its getting worse. i wake up and i cant even move it takes me so long and im in pain as well when i sleep so i must be tossing and turning or something or the muscular aches that come with it.
yes ive also been told to exercise in small amount but severaltimes a day. that a massive ask to do!

Re: Not Coping

It's hot today @Birdofparadise8 🙂 I went in the pool today - mainly to clean it further lol. I find t hard to use the pool when I see a leaf or something in it. At least the kids had a cleaner pool to use in the arvo. They are still in the pool.

Having a pool takes so much time when you transition from winter to summer. The first few cleans are always the hardest, then it gets easier.

Hope your day has been okay.

Re: Not Coping

Okay... firstly @outlander - sounds like you've had a chock-a-block day! You've been on the go, got so much done!

So congrats first on handing your assignment in - bet that feels like a relief!

As for now.. time standing still at work and even more so due to your pain levels - I'm sorry that you've got to experience that. Am I right in presuming you're a fan of the colder months a bit more?

What can you do for yourself to manage/reduce your pain levels when at work?

P.S. Curious to know what you've been watching on Netflix.

Re: Not Coping

Ah okay @creative_writer

I hope it will work out for you okay.

Re: Not Coping

Fantastic, I love coconut water - but lately I've been obsessed with the purple Hydralyte... sweet and healthy (haha!)

@creative_writer That's OK you couldn't get around to cooking fish tonight, perhaps tomorrow - I am glad you're able to still fill your belly with something yummy that your parents have prepared 🙂 Enjoy!

Re: Not Coping

Is the pool at your place or somewhere else if you have to clean it?

Yeah, um, it's been interesting I guess @tyme

Re: Not Coping

it doesnt really matter the season but i do prefer colder @PizzaMondo the cold flares my pain conditions up. the heat flares up a condition called POTS up. so either way i dont win with the weather. cooler is much easier to manage though

no i cant take anything stronger when im at work because i work with people but i have otc meds that i take while im here that keep me more sane and not cranky.

im watching more disney-criminal minds and malcom in the middle more lately
