Now I'm going out.

Take care, talk tomorrow @Birdofparadise8

Re: Not Coping

Okay have a good night @Blackbird11

Re: Not Coping

Hi @Blackbird11

I know you're probably still out. You can reply later.

Did you mention you have a peer support worker? I think you might have mentioned yesterday. I was wondering how did you get that.

Is that through the NDIS or something else? I don't have NDIS, so I can't get anything that way, but I was interested in it. The other thing you said you want to do after peer work, I had a look at that, and I think it was a bit expensive.

Re: Not Coping

Hi @Birdofparadise8

Was just about to post to see how you are!

I'm ok here, got a good sleep last night which always helps.

Have got a wedding on today.

How are you going? Many plans for the day?

Re: Not Coping

Hi @Snowie

Two minds think alike.

It's good you slept well. Oh, really, that sounds fun. Do you know how many people there will be?

Not very good weather for it.

I was going to go for a bike ride, but it's raining, or it might not be anymore, but the forecast doesn't look very good, and I don't like going when the ground is wet. I go along the Yarra, so it could be slippery. So I don't think that will happen. I'm unsure what to do, but I'll think of something. I might go to the gym.

Re: Not Coping

It is our next door neighbours wedding @Birdofparadise8

I'm not sure if it is indoors or outdoors but I am sure they have a plan in place incase it is still raining. They probably picked this date because summer has started and the weather should be ok. Damm Melb weather, cold, wet and rainy.

Not sure how many will be there. I know about 4 other couples that are going so at least I will have someone to talk too.

An inside gym sounds like a good idea instead of a bike ride. I have rode along the Yarra before and it is really a nice ride, in the sun!!

Re: Not Coping

Sounds like it will be a good day.

Can I ask if you are single or in a relationship?

I think I've seen you have children, if I'm not mistaken.

Well, it is better than being in my room just sitting and sweating because it feels like 30 degrees in here.

However, I do like the warmer weather. I do hope it will get better over the next month.

Yeah, it does @Snowie

Re: Not Coping

Hoping it will be a good day @Birdofparadise8

I'm not that comfortable around crowds so will just see how I go.

I have a husband and two kids that are 18 and 16.

My hubby is a great support for me with my mental health. I am very lucky to have him.

That would make your room hot. I'm guessing you can't control the heat.

Do you have any siblings?

Re: Not Coping

Fair enough, I find them hard as well sometime @Snowie

That's nice to hear.

No, I only have a fan and a window that opens maybe five-ish cm.

No, just myself. I was premature three months, and mum had a few miscarriages and one premature four months who died before me. So it's my Mum, Dad and I, plus our extended family. Who are mostly in Hobart, other than a few here in Vic with me. I have my uncle and aunt, who greatly support me with MH. My parents don't understand. THen a cousin and her husband, but we only talk at family catch-ups. We are having one tomorrow for her birthday.
