This morning and yesterday they said we are doing it thing update from 10_1 but it only works once then it hasn't worded I was texting a friend there around 1.30 but it doesn't work anymore 

I long in just after because I got a message for a friend there it's won't work ING

I think it could be to do with your level of distress maybe and wether you're safe or not. 

If you make it clear when you're posting in distress that you are safe, I highly doubt you would get an email. Am I correct in saying so @tyme.
