Please do ask sweetie, please. It's a pleasure to teach someone who wants to learn something different! It's an honour actually.
I can't always remember well enough all the details and we all learn differently. I was rather upset with myself that I had missed that point. Glad the info will be useful though.
Keep up the good work, cos you have done really well, and I don't think I said that enough either as I was so intent on finding an explanation to help.
Must go, you have an excellent night.

Thank you @Former-Member - many say they would not have the patience for such intricate work. Funny thing is that I am not a patient person in many things - I just love the art so much.
Thank you for the inspiration - the rocking and crocheting sounds so relaxing......x

@CheerBear I've getting into jewelery making and macrame weaving I've been making macrame-style stone pouches for pendants and necklaces and making rosary-style necklaces. I can also draw, and when I'm feeling really bad sometimes, I try to draw out my feelings.

Hi to everyone at the craft corner. Does restoring furniture and/or decorating it count as a craft? I’m going to a church garage sale in two weeks time to look at buying my first project. Wish me luck. This will be something completely new to me, an outdoor activity for my creative juices.
Indoors, I knit, cross stitch, long stitch, draw, rubber stamp, but I have yet to learn to crochet. So far, all attempts to learn have brought me to tears. I don’t have anything to photograph for you to see, but I knitted a blanket for my niece when she was a baby, and when she moved to a “big kids” bed (that is, a normal single bed), I made it bigger and even cross stitched her name on it. To give you a hint, her favourite colours are pink, purple, red and blue. The cross stitching was done in black 8-ply knitting wool.
