Ohhh wow @Maggie that's really awesome. Very pretty and so fine and delicate. Thank you for sharing! Pressing flowers, how lovely. Before this move I gave away my flower press and my all of my paints. A difficult decision, but one that went with the acceptance of 'there are some things I can no longer do without too much pain making it untenable'.
@Snowie are we inspiring you to open any project packets yet? It makes me smile to think of you thinking of starting something crafty.
@CheerBear Your message made me smile on a bit of a low day, thank you. Love the cross stitch! is that what you've already done?! Gosh that's amazingly fast and awesome work. Love the smiley faced frog. Love that you also get caught up, inspired by and enjoy the world of possibilities and the world of thinking about possibilities of crafty goodnesses.
I'd really like to see those special cross stitches you have but of course, boundaries are there for a reason. I used to have a mug with a very explicit message that was very dear to me.
I have bookmarks that I go to and look at all sorts of things, and threads on Ravelry I read to learn new ideas and skills and stuff. I saw these from the new sneak preview edtion of the Japanese pattern book Keitodama 178 and thought you and others might like to see them too. I love love love the intricacy of Japanese designs in both knit and crochet and often use the ideas to create some of my own works.
I don't have the patience (or the skill) that the Japanese and the Russian girls/ women have, but oh dear me, they are so so inspiring with the delicacy and dedication to their crafts. Just for sharing the pretties no need to respond @Teej @greenpea @Faith-and-Hope @Maggie @Snowie @outlander @BlueBay @OhanaSystem @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Pepperpot @Sans911
When i saw this pencil sharpener and shavings I immediately thought of you and had to show you! That was quickly followed by the decorative sea inspired charms which are just darlling.
I hope everyone is having a craft inspired day!

@Former-Member Hi SunShower how are you going today? I hope you are well and enjoying the crisp Autumn weather. Thought I would let you know that my mother loved her finger knitted scarf that I did with that yarn I got from LoveKnitting which was one of the ones recommended by you. Thanks again for getting me all crafty. 😄 xxx

@greenpea How wonderful! I have a very smiley face for your right now!
Thank you for sharing that wonderful experience. It's so good when people like what you do and make them. I know from reading elsewhere that visit wasn't totally wonderful, but if you got that little bit of pleasantry from it, that's just lovely.
So so cool, and aren't the pretty packages from LoveKnitting just lovely? and the organza bags the yarn comes in too. You've made my day @greenpea, I hope you're having a lovely day too.
Are you going to do any more knitting any time soon? any plans or projects in mind yet? Of course, only if you want to share.

@CheerBear That really is lovely. Well done you. I only keep track of my glasses as they are attached to my nose every waking hour. I spend hours looking for things I've put in a safe place!!!!!! Never to be found again...

Hey @greenpea do you have any images of them? That would maybe help.
It might be that the knitting is loose, some are meant to be, and that makes them hang like threads.
I'm going to ask some questions that will sound like the Spanish Inquisition, but don't worry, you're not in trouble okay!
What size are your needles?
What yarn are you using? BRand name and any info on the label. (suggestion: keep your labels with your item so you know what you're using should you leave it for any length of time, and, so you know how much it took should you want to make it again)
What stitch or pattern did you use?
How many stitches did you begin with/ did you end with the same number?
How many rows long?
That will tell me some things, and if you can show an image, that would also be a great help.

@Former-Member Ahaha yes well the needles are much bigger than what is suggested on the yarn ... does that matter?? but even then I have tried it with needles are are the right size for the yarn and it still looks like a thneed
I end up with more castings on the needle than when I started ?? How did I do that??
