The Call Of His Love

My Beloved calls—and all my restless longing wakes;
His voice draws near like fragrance on the air.

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?”

🌿 Brief reflection 

This verse comes from Paul reminding the early church that God’s presence is not confined to a building, but lives among His people. Because of that, their unity and how they treat one another carries deep spiritual meaning. 💚

@heartathome So good to know that through Jesus God is in our midst, that is why the early Church was known for the love that lived between believers. (blue is linked.)

So many believers proudly claim they fully reborn Christians, but would that not mean Christ be fully formed in them? Are the fruits of Jesus living in Holy Spirit within  - or are the fruits the works of carnal flesh? For those who heed Jesus' Spirit truthfully operate out of a holy Spirit, such acts of obedience to God's truth can even be visible in gentiles Paul shows in Romans 2:13-15

Another Word that shows us this clearly that Jesus is not just in Heaven Above but among us believers is Revelation 1:12-20

Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your aunt @ENKELI, and even more sorry that your family shut you out from saying goodbye, that would have been incredibly painful to experience. How have you been navigating your feelings of loss and anger? 

And I am glad you have God to turn to right now to protect your peace. 💛

I am okay. I am struggling with wanting to call out Narcisister and her behaviour and letting God deal with it. I can't do anything right with her, if I engage with her I am fake, if I ignore her I am a horrible person who can't even acknowledge her birthday. 

When I say she is just like our dad, it's not a compliment. For her to poison my dad's family against me is downright nasty and I have to walk away.

Because of her I had to find out from a friend of mums' that my aunt had a brain tumour and passed away - I wasn't able to attend her funeral. Still trying to forgive that one.

However, I found this timely post and am clinging on to it.

I hope everyone is well and had a nice weekend.

Of course now my support button has decided to work!

I got an extension on my assessment that was due on Wednesday but it means that I also have a weeks' worth of study to catch up on as well. Fortunately it shouldn't be too difficult to complete in time but my status is "slipping", whereas before it was "on track" That bugs me more than the fact I am behind lol.

@AuntGlow it's been an interesting time that's for sure. God has told me that He is allowing these people to leave my life so that I can draw nearer to him. 

And the post I made from TobyMac earlier - "being left out is often God's way of saying I didn't want you there." was timely. It's like God is reminding me that He is in control. I was sad and hurt of course when I found out what was happening but it didn't hurt as badly as it would have even 6 months ago.

God healed me from the spirit of rejection and I can cope with it. I just need to make sure that I speak life and not hate.

Just waiting for it to get light enough to go for a walk @ENKELI 

I've been good. I'm near the Gold Coast seeing my old partner at the moment. I'm going home tomorrow which I'm looking forward to. I was going to leave on Friday but am leaving earlier. I've been here six days and 'can't' do anymore. I just want to get back in familar territory! Sending much love. 💚
