Take it easy

Re: The Next Day

Finished a series tv show ... but starting a kiwi comedy series ... needing self care before I go manic. Its too late to start another painting project.

Different ways of passing time alone ...

Wellington Paranormal is pretty good! I think there's a new series beyond what I've watched already...just checked- there IS a new series! Season 4!! Woohoo!

Thanks @Appleblossom - that's tomorrow night's viewing sorted 🙂

Re: The Next Day

The full feature is on SBS OnDemand, but I thought maybe I'd just post the trailer.

It's just a nice, funny movie. But not for everyone

Re: The Next Day

I'm watching Babylon Berlin @Appleblossom @StuF @Bunniekins

Its about Weimar Germany. Roaring 20s vibes.

Yeah had a weird experience 2 nights ago. Might explain it later here but still processing it

Yeah been chilling out this afternoon. Feels like the creases are being ironed out of my brain.

Re: The Next Day

Actually went to see it on the big screen @StuF and that is not even a yearly event for me.

I loved Hunt for the Wilders..  I loved the scenery and the whacky and dry humour.  Loved the focus on a child chased by the welfare.  First time I could laugh about that kind of c&*p.  The second time was watching Robbie Hood, a homegrown kids series.  Wow being able to see myself in those situations, which were so over loaded for me, and be able to laugh ... a real blessing.

had a few kiwi friends.

I love good cinema, and not ashamed to watch children's shows, had to do it anyway as a parent. I am proud we are growing our own, in this Land Downunder.

@MDT   Thats a great period. Reviews look good.  I would love to see it.

Recently I saw Shadowplay ... set in post wwii Berlin.

Talk about stuff when you are ready.  Funny about creases in brains, some of them are meant to be there ... its shaped like a walnut ...

Re: The Next Day

@Appleblossom

Have you seen "What We Do In The Shadows" then? The original movie (I've not seen the American series)?
