The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

@outlanderI am glad that it is a good distraction for you. It is very quiet here tonight. Hubby and son gone away so am home alone, well with the dog that is!!

The pup thinks she is a human and has totally taken over the house. Have been teaching her some tricks so she knows sit, drop, shake, beg. Trying to teach her to roll over now!!!

@Sans911how is Jasper? Are they freinds now or just tolerate each other?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

@Snowie @outlander

Garage sale again tommorow but reduced hours. I'm trying to stay hopeful it will be a better day. My house mate is off work so that should make it a little easier. And definitely more sleep tonight.

Cats are getting along really well now. They often sleep together, groom each other, play, wrestle lots, play chase. It's fun for me, and Jasper is a sweet, sweet boy. He'll meow at me and then climb in my lap to snuggle in for a cuddle. I'm also teaching him things @Snowie like to stand up, get off the bench and to try to tame his insatiable appetite and need to launch himself into every peice of food or meal. So far he likes potato/sweet potato mash, tomatoes, ginger thin biscuits, chocolate (which he doesn't understand why he can't have), cheese, yoghurt and chokos!

@outlander how's your diffuser? I have in mine tonight Bergamot, Lavender and Neroli. It's divine and very soothing.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

wow the house to yourself how good is that. nice an peaceful @Snowie aww shes cute and a clever girl

i hope the garage sale goes better tomorrow @Sans911 hopefully a few more things sell. aww im glad they are getting along well now. jasper is cute and sounds very cuddly but needs to elarn he cant have everything you have.

diffusers going good. ive only been using the lavender last night and tonight . i had to tip some out as the oil was too strong so re done it and its better. ive had it on for the past hr but the smell gets abit strong after that. i like watching the colours change and the steam coming out and swirling around- ive got the fan on so its jsut straight up and out

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

@Sans911hopefully you sell some more things tomorrow.

@outlander@Sans911my night time meds are kicking in. Screen is getting blurry!

Goodnight to you both. Love being able just to chat to you two tonight, has been really comforting Heart

Hope you both get some sleep tonight

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

@outlanderHow many drops are you putting in? Should only be between 6-10 for a single oil, 3each for multliple oils except for the heavier oils like Neroli, Frankicense, Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood. Apart from Lavender, which most people like, you should always smell an oil as everyone's indiviual chemistry reacts differently to the smells of them. For example, I can't stand Patchouli, and if I put it on my skin, it smells like a fart haha! I will try to post some of my Aromaethapy Recipes here for you. In fact, I will start a thread on it! (I'll need to check with @Former-Member about giving out information). And try to keep the diffuser away from the fan otherwise you loose some effectiveness.

@Snowieyou haven't shared pictures of Izzy for a while. Would be ok doing so. Would love to see how she is growing up.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Goodnight sweetheart, I was just looking at the time thinking it wouldn't be long. A peaceful sleep lovely @Snowie.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

@Sans911will post some photos tomorrowSmiley Happy

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

I put 140mls in as thats the limit and 3 drops of oil @Sans911 i put more in to start with but was too strong. The diffusers next to my bed so still get the use out of it but the fan is on too. I find it helps circulate too.
Lol the chemists dont allow sampling so just need to buy them sort of thing. I dont wear them usually only a dab every now and then for anxiety/calming/sleep. Would love some recipies if your allowed to share them like that...
Im suppose to log off to but i wont sleep yet. Too much pain atm so will keep talking while your online.
