Re: Living with Ourselves

Thanks @Jynx Drinking lots of water. Just very concerned about my friend

Re: Living with Ourselves

Hello @Former-Member

understand how worried you are as the person is important to you

I read @Jynx  response as well.  Very good advice

Can you put water in your glass first halfway and then a little wine?

Is your friend awake?

How are you feeling now?

Re: Living with Ourselves

@Former-Member Glad to hear he's going ok. I'm sure it's invaluable having you there.

Guilt is a tricky one... to me, it is a teacher and a guide that tells us when we have behaved against our own values. In that sense, perhaps it is worth acknowledging this guilt you feel, but also telling yourself that you cannot change it now, you can only learn from it.

Deep breaths. Here with you Heart

Re: Living with Ourselves

Hello @Former-Member

I believe that even though feel guilty around drinking you are brave in telling us.

I think what @Jynx @has written makes sense.

I am wondering if you are perhaps reaching out for help about drinking which you don't really want to do.

@Jynx any helplines to talk about this after hours offering support and I know not judging

We are not judging you either Mumi

@Former-Member

We want you to trust yourself x

Re: Living with Ourselves

Thanks @Jynx l know you mean well, but lifeline etc aren't at all helpful for me. I will have an early night, now that my friend is resting. Sleep helps. Haven't had much sleep lately. I'll keep an eye on him during the night.
I haven't drank that much, that I can't look after him.
Thanks for your support. 🤗
