Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

hello @Former-Member how are you and mr @Former-Member

Mr shaz wants to see about his MI Smiley Very Happy making a appt for next week

The specialist rang and want to see my mum as she has been in and out of hospital 10 times last year -- got a appt

get mr shaz`s results next week about his shoulder

and my blood test results will be next week too

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hopefully they have that VIP couch and personal parking space ready for you @Shaz51.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

ha ha yea @Former-Member, or else mr shaz will totally change his mind once again xxx

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

I wasn't going to mention that @Shaz51 (even though I did think it) 😀.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hi @Shaz51

Metabolic Acidosis - that is rotten luck - no need to tell me about it - I am aways curious and looked it up of course

I guess they will control that with diet and I hope it gets sorted quickly

Working must make you very tired and I read that Mr Shaz didn't want to take his medication because he didn't want to get tired - but then took them later - which I am glad about - taking medication is not fun at all and does make us tired - my BP medication does that - I fall asleep without feeling drowsy - in the afternoon - so that's one reason I am not trying to get my licence again - it could turn out really bad

I hear you Mum is home from hospital again and has had 10 admissions - since when I forget - she seems like a tough old lady and not prepared to give in - I admire her for that but it is hard on you

Thinking of you esp with the heat

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

mum is a tough old lady @Owlunar very true Smiley Very Happyi did everthing you can think of for mum today -- she has to see a specialist next week , we will take her up 60 kms away and back

working does make me tired my second mum

@Former-Member, Mr shaz rang the mental health today to make a appt --- boy they asked him thousands of questions over the phone , thought he was going to hang up a couple of times

saw the doctor for the xray results , no breaks , have to have a scan has he thinks it is a tendon, and he has arthritis in there too

so no work this afternoon , the doctor asked him if he wanted a letter for a week off --- ammmmmmm you don`t get one if you are self employed

Mr shaz is sooo ready to give up the bussiness

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

There's one for the books @Shaz51 he may yet follow through ... hoping that it leads to improved outcomes for him.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

hope soo too @Former-Member

they sid they will get in touch in a couple of weeks time

There's one for the books --- I know @Former-Member, and he actually wants to go off the meds , but then he said to the lady that he wants to stay on the meds

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

@Shaz51 the twin not fond of his meds. Due to past problems I advocate fiercely for him, producing scholarly articles and asking questions. We do however respect the advice given and Mr D would not stop or change meds without input and liasion with pdoc.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

mr shaz and I like him on his meds @Former-Member  so i think mr shaz would like to stay on the meds he is on now
