Hi @outlander @Former-Member @Shaz51 @Faith-and-Hope @Ali11

Just checking in and expressing my gratitude for your support and how actively you participate in this forum ... you have made me feel so supported and that feeling of knowing a community of understanding people are always here to bring concerns , overwhelmed feelings and questions and sharing stuff is amazing ...

i am personally still battling pain 24/7 and this week was really hard had to fight tears off at work as pain wore me down - I reached out to my new gp (a couple months in now) across road from work and I am so lucky again she is so supportive and caring and has me back on track with a realistic pain mgt plan ... 🤞already more manageable 3 days into new regime. She also planned with me who to reach out to for specialist rehab advice for my hip - appts booked and all so I’m relieved ..

MsS has some concerning news this week - treatment for migraine showed up corotid artery irregularity - now scans next week and then more specialists .. blessing in disguise I suspect as it may help explain the almost year long headache/migraine she has had ... 🤞

so so so many waiting games and pain mgt for us both and anxiety/mood mgt as well for MsS .. saw her new psych again this week and super positive relationship forming there so that’s great news

that’s really all for now and Thankyou again for caring xx

Quick check in @Sophie1

Re: Sharing my life with Ms Sophie (Bipolar II)

Hi @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @outlander @Shaz51 @Ali11

was up till 3am in pain with hip after a social weekend hosting sister in laws who I love shopping with - we bargain hunted fabulously however my hip was very inflamed and aching awfully and I had to sleep in lounge room with pillows and couches to find good angle to sleep - strangely awake now ...

anyway self care I know - it's super hard when you don't want to miss out on fun ... and even harder when MsS is in bed all day with migraine and I am the sole host that is kind of able bodied ha ha ... anyway that's my whinge - in the scheme of things not really bad at all but just another occasion/event  that floats by with MsS absent and only present for the breakfast and dinner bits of the day ... life as usual right now

good news tho my new physio is brilliant and I'm hopeful I'm on right track now for hip rehab exercises - hard work but i think will start to pay off this week hopefully

how is everyone else ??

Re: Sharing my life with Ms Sophie (Bipolar II)

I do hope you see some improvement with the physio soon @Sophie1 so too that Ms S will get relief from her migraines.

Having a little retail therapy = 😀.

Thought of you yesterday when the news was on as they talked about a new exercise is "plogging" - jogging and picking up litter along the way. Reminded me of a comment you made about litter you may have collected on one of your walking haunts.
