Fragile

Re: Fragile

Hello @Appleblossom

I have been reminded of your own place on the forums here my friend.

Migraines and neck pain can be so exasperating.

Neck pain I am familiar with.

Migraines I have not had.

I used to have hormonal headaches where I had to lie down in a dark room with silence.

Migraines can completely wipe people out so I have been told by many sufferers.

Hmm minimise use of electronic devices.

I am sure that you know about dimming all of your screens.

Mine are always so dark.

I do not like bright lights full stop.

A difficult time of the year in this "season".

I am spending much time in my garden pottering.

I also cleaned out my garden house for nearly four hours.

Needless to say back paid for it and neck; shoulders; head.

Sigh

We have to do something don't we.

Congratulations and a brilliant effort in reinvigorating your verge and community spots about with plantings.

Spreading nature is my thing also.

When I lived close to the city I used to plant out my verge as well.

As you mentioned people notice and some do comment.

Nature does bring people together.

It certainly is bringing us together now on this post on this thread on this forum.

Others might read.

Stay safe.

Look after your health.

As you often say to me and I say to my boys all of the time be true to yourselves.

Love you in my life my friend albeit virtually.

What does it matter?

It works for me.

Sorry.

I know another book.

You will need a larger bookcase soon.

Sophia 1

warm energy waves flowing your way.

ps. Of course I had to say something else!

I shall also include you still in my personal space.

Only reply there when "you" feel up to it.

Yes I am going now

ha ha

Re: Fragile

@Sophia1

I discovered a social side of myself in my busyness on this forum, but found I needed a place for quiet and solitude and for vulnerable times.  There have been periods of 6 months or so that I have not needed to post on this thread, but I did go through a recent low patch emotionally and physically.  Thanks for checking in here.

I do not know if it is migraine or not.  Yep about low light on screens.  Yep the garden heals and distracts from all the aches and pains and does not require me to wear glasses which is a plus.

@Jynx @outlander @Shaz51 @FloatingFeather Thank you for being there for me.

My son has invited me to watch a movie Pleased mama bear.

Re: Fragile

Thank you @Appleblossom

I am a believer in having our own spaces on the forum for those of us who are perhaps more sensitive, less gregarious, more at ease with less social threads.
We all have our own needs, favourites, styles which adds to the hustle and bustle on the forums so much like real life.

I do forget names of threads and if not in t he best mindset or head is foggy I need to stay closer to my own grounds so to speak.

This has nothing to do with not thinking of you .

Most days I find responding to so many lovely people overwhelming.

pleased to hear that the day went well for you.

Gardening, watering again today.

Re: Fragile

Hey @outlander somehow I missed your tag until now.

I noticed you pop in and a few other of your posts and supported.

The Silly Season is a challenge isn't it?

Hope you are doing alright?

Post here anytime.

I will always get back to you ... eventually.

Love Apple

Re: Fragile

@maddison

That Samuel Barber piece is very serene and deep and I can understand why you love it.

I would love to talk and share classical music with you.

I doubt I would have survived without it, and have been lucky to experience a great deal live being a very small chorister cog in a large show and coming to really feel the string section vibrate through me.

Never too mad about brass (cos it can hurt my neck) unless it is really well played and I have been lucky there too.
