Hi @Mazarita and @outlander
Mazarita I hope you get some more sleep and that your appointment is a good one.
Today hasn't brought any change yet but thanks for the wishes. I had a talk with bro last night about what he'd written and it ended up being a talk about my goals and my approach to them. I know he really wants a better life for me and I feel like my efforts aren't enough. The NDIS process has been knocking me down to a place where I can't see the wood for the trees so to speak. I'm aware that I have a list of goals but I can't see the steps to achieving them. And I feel like his idea of progress means taking much bigger steps than the baby steps I need. I get so overwhelmed that I just shut down for days at a time and have no impetus even for baby steps. Feeling that way again today.

Hi @outlander, we posted at the same time, didn't see you were here this morning. Hope today is one of the better ones for you.
@eth, I feel for you struggling with these feelings of external and internal pressure. Hopefully once this stage of the NDIS process resolves, these struggles may ease too. Meanwhile we are here to listen as you feel it helpful to talk more about your feelings. I hope that your brother might come to understand a bit more over time how a harder approach to your goals leaves you feeling quite helpless and unable to move forward at all. It's still relatively early days living together and there may be more communication to be had there.

Glad your friend's housing is getting sorted. Def something to celebrate @Mazarita
Hey @Former-Member @NameUnknown @outlander
Your brother has his views, but "progress" and "goals" can be buzzwords that can become counterproductive if they do not mesh with your inner needs and goals. I prefer the languages of life cycle and developmental psychology and biology.
I was really glad when my mh worker admitted that it is not always good to put time limits on goals as life often interferes and that is what needs attention.
I am concerned that you moved to his property and now feel it is not a secure option for you.
Take care ALL
